Ajjj 26 godzin w pociagu z Varanasi do Mombaju i 16 godzin w autobusie do Margao. Skrajna meczarnia, masochizm, wszystko po to by swieta i nowy rok spedzic na plazy:)

Wydeptalismy chyba wszystkie plaze Goa w kolejnosci nastepujacej: Benaulim, Mandrem, Arambol, Ashvem, Marbella, Baga, Calangute, Anjuna, Vagator i na dowidzenia Palolem.

Jezeli chcecie zobaczyc jak Hindusi plazuja i imprezuja to zapraszam do Calangute i do Bagi - plaze w stylu indyjskim, zatloczone do boluuuuu!

26 hours in a train from Varanasi to Mumbai and then immediate change to 16h bus to Margao (Goa). Extreme exhaustion, masochism, and transportation sickness – just to make it for Christmas to most chilled out state of India – legendary post-hippie GOA

So we made it to Goa and we stayed there for one month! Madness:) Pleasant madness... We stepped and swam through all the beaches available in that tiny Indian region: we started in Benaulim and then traveled through Mandrem, Arambol, Ashvem, Marbella, Baga, Calangute, Anjuna, Vagator to land in Palolem Beach for goodbye.
I discovered that beach hopping is pretty addictive, especially when you spend the last 4 years of your life in Aberdeen (Scotland) hehehe:)

We were carried away by palms and seaside charm, especially that our time in Goa makes almost half of the time we can spend in India due to our visa expiry date which is coming soon (24th of February). There's plenty attractions and tourists side in this huge country but as we said every day: “ one day longer on Goa won't make a big harm”

Describing our experience with different beaches in Goa we would definitely state that PALOLEM is number one and for all those of you who want to taste the best of Goa and has limited time the advice is to go south to Palolem. If you'd have a bit more time to spare in Goa try Anjuna, Ashvem and Arambol – these are most beautiful and relaxed sites next to Palolem. Those of you seeking more experience of India should head to Baga and Calangute – that is where Indians go to bath and party – place is unbelievably packed and jammed , like whole India I guess:)

What you don't get at home by the seaside but will have here on daily basis is a ZOO ON THE BEACH which means tens of cows, dogs and goats mingling with tourists which makes it real Indian experience (not to be missed) This views are always jaw-dropping as I would assume they just belong here and make this country so out – of – this planet!

DOCTORS>HOSPITALS Yes, yes, yes. It just couldn't be as perfect as it sounds. We do not avoid being sick while in Goa. Actually we are sick half of our time there so you don't really need to be so jealous now. First of all my body gave up after 26train+16hours bus journey to Goa. 3 days after we arrived I was struck with 39.5 degrees temperature and lung infection. It ended up in local hospital with a antibiotic jab which made it luckily better in 2 days. Unfortunately the lung infection is passed to Charlyn and she struggles with really bad and exhausting cough for the next 2 weeks. Cough is so strong that she coughs her meal of the plate when we are in the restaurant! Then just as both of us feel good and we are ready to enjoy the Indian paradise Charlyn steps on a dirty nail which leads to another 3 visits at the doctor, lots of bandaging, disinfection and tetanus vaccine just in case. So as you see ALL NOT SO SWEET as we would want it.

"Cough is so strong that she coughs her meal of the plate when we are in the restaurant!"

Is that what you call "cough surfing" on plates?
