Podsumowanie Indii?
Takie tylko zarty.
Indii sie nie da przeciez podsumowac.
Indii nie da sie zaklasyfikowac. Nie da sie strescic.
W zasadzie to Indii nie sposob zrozumiec naszym europejskim rozumieniem.
Indie w glowie sie nie mieszcza.
Cokolwiek by o Indiach nie napisac, to zaraz znajdzie sie druga strona medalu, druga skrajnosc, argument i kontrargument ida w parze.
Ciezki orzech do zgryzienia.
My turysci z Zachodu, w beznadziejnym poszukiwaniu religii, ktora podaza za duchem czasu, kupujemy hinduizm, niczym pudelko z kolorowymi farbkami, zachwyceni odmiennoscia i roznorodnoscia.
Bieda zalewa ulice, wlewa sie do oczu, uszu i do nosa turysty. Nie pozostawia obojetnym. Powoduje poczucie winy. Mam w kieszeni 1000 rupi, 15 funtow, 80 zlotych. Ocieram sie o tysiace tysiecy wychudzonych, wygladzanych i zmeczonych codziennoscia hindusow, ich twarze wykreca grymas bolu, walki o przetrwanie. Co chwile ktos prosi o kilka rupi. Monete, za ktora przezyje kolejny dzien. 10 groszy?
Indie stawiaja podroznika w bezposredniej konfrontacji z problemami wspolczesnego swiata.
O Indiach nie zapomniemy.
Indyjskie przygody, doswiadczenia, impresje beda w nas zyly, nie zgasna.
O Indiach bedziemy opowiadac z pasja.
I na pewno tu wrocimy.

To summarise India?
Not a chance.
There is no way that India can be summarised.
India can not be classified. It can not be summarised. It is basically not possible to comprehend this country with our European comprehension.
Whatever is said about India, there is always the other side of the coin there, opposite extreme, argument and counterargument go together. You can love India or hate it with the same passion, the country is as amazing as it is disgusting.
Well, you can have different opinions about India but somehow everybody is right in the discussion as every extreme, every impression, emotion, every colour, scent or sound can be found there.
India is a hard case.
We are a bit tired after 3 months long Indian adventure. Tired of being constantly anxious about health, never ending aggression of the street sellers and taxi drivers, constant rip-off and being cheated at every step we took. We become annoyed observing some Indian folk, the way they dump rubbish all around, right under themselves, every wall in this country seems to be full of pee and spit, kind of Indian style graffiti. Money seems to be at the centre of attention of most of the Indians, everybody seems to be focused on earning money and so the tourist is therefore a walking dollar sign. We were approached by many Indians over last 3 months, all pretended to be interested, curious, asking about our countries, hobbies, family etc but in the end NONE cared about learning anything about us, they all wanted to take us to their silk shop, jewellery gallery etc. Which is really a shame since what we want as travellers is to meet local people, have genuine conversations and discussions. Hinduism – a colourful and exciting religion also seemed to be a easy catch for foreigners' money, at least this is how we see it. Preachers, Brahman and priests are always happy to pray for you for a donation. If you are happy to pay, you can attend multiple courses and trainings giving insight into Indian religion.
In Russia or in China the poverty is hidden. It's either behind the wall, "under the carpet", underground, I don't know where, the point is that foreign visitors don't see it. In India it's all visible, it's pouring into your eyes. And the view won't let you to be indifferent. It provokes to feel guilty. Me, as a foreign traveller, I don't know how to act while confronted with such poverty. I just feel stupid – I have couple hundred rupee in my pocket which has little value in my country but here it could prevent couple dozens from being hungry. I pass by hundreds of skinny Indians who work to the bone to earn to satisfy most basic needs. I see how they struggle to earn what at home would be couple cents or pennies. Every other while somebody is asking for money, for those couple of cents that I don't mind sparing here and there. But can I support so many at once? Should I be indifferent or just try not to notice and not to hear those who ask. It's shameful and bitter. But at the same time thousands of those beggars do it as a profession, they were sent to the streets by their patrons, by those who picked them up from the streets when they were homeless and starving and now they pay back by begging. Some begging kids on the streets were made disabled only in order to increase begging revenue. Then how can I behave among that madness?
India is provoking and challenging the traveller to face the problems of the contemporary world.
But we will not forget what we have experienced in India.
Indian adventures, experiences, and impressions will live in us and their fire will not fade out.
We will write and talk about India with passion.
And for sure ...
one day...
we'll be back.
